The Royal flying Doctors Service-RFDS brings emergencies into perth for treatment but can only rarely help get them home due to their ongoing commitments. This is where Air Australia helps out. We have a close alliance with Perth's public hospitals and St. John Ambulance and frequently return country patients by air taxi witha minimum of fuss.

Our aircraft are equipped with RFDS approved stretchers and a nurse can accompany the patient if required. In addition we are a lot faster and cheaper than road transport.

Road transport is normally $1.45+ pr km whereas we average $0.78 per km!
